A VAZDAIC Kind of Music

VAZDA is a new band from Stockholm. They play exclusively original compositions in a genre they describe as “Urban Balkan Ethno Rock”. The musical root and inspiration derives from Serbian & Greek traditional music throughout VAZDA creates a energetic, sensitive, modern and powerful sound spiced with a specific combination of epic melodies and Balkanic rhythms.

Vazda's identity is inspired by pre-christian mythology from both Greek and Slavic pagan faith. The song names refers to the glorious myths, gods and geographical sites of the ancient Haemus (the Balkans).
